This plugin will insert javascript into a Joomla article(content) and requires certain settings in the Joomla Article Parameters and the Content Editor parameters in order for this occur.
The latitude, longitude, zoom are the tool's initial map display settings.
Search Location is used to search for the tool's map initial location.
Display As: changes the way JGooMap appears either as a inline iframe or as popup window.
One of the things you might come across is the script tags are being removed when saving an article. There is an Article Filter property, which by it's default settings removes unwanted html or javascript. For more information see Filtering Options in the Article Paramters. Help page.
As an example, I set to not filter any of the content saved by a Super Administrator.
